ANSWER TO MYSTERY TECHNIQUE #77:
I‘m very impressed with the quality of the paper in the Stillman & Birn line of sketchbooks! It’s great how wet you can get it; paper buckling is so much less than other brands I’ve tried. I’m also enjoying their toned paper as a quick way to test out techniques. Here’s the cheesecloth texture from Mystery Technique #75, looking very different on black paper:
