ANSWER TO MYSTERY TECHNIQUE #32: First I partially wet the paper with a spray bottle; then I took a liner brush and painted a network of magenta lines across the page, adding a few blue ones before the paper dried.

The opening reception for Reshaping the Shadows is Sept. 23, and I’d love to see you there if you can make it! Be sure to RSVP by Sept. 19 if you plan to come.

My work is in the case across from Starbucks, so you don’t have to go through the security checkpoint to see it.

How to tour the exhibits:

  • Park in the Short Term Parking Garage. Parking will be validated.
  • Check-in at the Concourse C Waiting Lounge, near Starbucks.
  • Guests viewing exhibits beyond the checkpoint must undergo security screening. Please carry a government-issued photo ID, and do not bring items prohibited by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
  • For screening guidelines, visit TSA’s website: www.tsa.gov. Guests must check-in and enter security before 5:30 p.m. in order to tour exhibits beyond the security checkpoint.

My show is up at the airport! These are installation shots, so final details like labels are missing. The large piece is 48 inches tall; we used rare earth magnets to hang the 2 panels an inch apart.
